Hold on. Hondo is a good team but SA Sam Houston has one of the best defenses in the state. Loads of talent, size and speed. This game will be fairly close and I don't see either team scoring more than 24...

have you seen Sam Houston this year? They are by far alot better than last year. I haven't seen Hondo so I don't know who'll win but I think SH is going to surprise some folks!

Hondo is well balanced, if you stop the run, they can air it out and if you stop the air attact, then they will run it. They are big, athletic, discipline and well coached. I still like Hondo in this one.

Hondo just has to pretend that they are playing Medina Valley or Devine. I'm not worried about the OWLS, I Know they can beat them.

What happens when Hondo cant do eather? Cuero is alot like Hondo, Pass and run well. SH CAN and WILL shut you down. I look for SH to meet up with someone in the bottom half of the bracket for Reg.4 championship.

SH will take this one. SH is way too fast and alot of raw talent that can make things happen when you don't expect. Line is big and goodluck stopping #90 & #71.

Seriously, I can see Sam Houston making a deep run this year. If they can keep it together. They are dangerous and hungry.
Funny thing, one of their earlier wins against Brack in SA, I wasn't sold on Brack then, but they ended up making the 4A playoffs after their blowout loss to SH.
Not saying Brack is all that, but goodness, they dominated that game.:eek:

I wasn't sold on Hondo either, especially aftr the Somerset game. But they showed a lot in the Devine game. I wouldn't bet the farm on SH this week. Just sayin.

Hondo will have a tough time with SH but IMO, Hondo has been to this dance plenty of times. They know what needs to be done. Hondo should come out on top..

His dad is a cop here or was in Cuero. He would be at some of the Cuero games. I know he was thinking about joining the military at one time.
