Columbus vs Rockdale

Rockdale is coming off a big win against the Caldwell Hornets to clinch a playoff spot in 23-3A and look to keep the momentum going into the playoffs... Columbus finished 2nd in 24-3A and are coming off of a bi-week meaning they should be well rested and prepared for the game this coming Friday at Viking Stadium in Bryan... This has the potential to be a hell of a game and i think many will agree with me on that one... Who wins this round 1 playoff game??? I gotta go with the Cards by 6 cuz i think they might be too fast for the Tigers to handle... Can not wait until Friday Night!!!

Both teams have the potential for beating each other. That is the way it should be,this is the playoffs. Columbus has a lot of speed,quickness,endurance and a very solid football team on both sides of the ball. A week to rest and heal up,they will have their A game and Rockdale best be ready.
This will be a very hard fought battle but I am going with Columbus by 10.

They may try to sneak a pass or two by you a few times, but they are going to try to power run the ball pretty much all night.

If Rockdale plays like they did against us and Caldwell , Rockdale by 2 Tds. Rockdale D will stop Columbus running game, Rockdale LB's will stepped up again.

Rockdale may have some size in a cuople of spots on O and some quickness on D,BUT Columbus has speed on BOTH sides of the ball,ability to break it open on any given play,very deep in talent on both sides, a very solid running and passing game and most of all those guys have HEART!!!!!!!!!

Should be a really great game.
All I can say is RD best be ready for an open can of REDBIRD whoop arse. They best have their game face on and bring their A game with em.

Columbus by 10 in a hard fought game.

Too many IF's in that statement... Columbus has had 2 weeks to get ready for this game and they will come out firing on all cylinders on O and D.. The Cards have too much firepower for them Tigers to handle and as Teetle would say "Brent gots somethin for yalls and yalls aints gonnas likes it" haha

Columbus mades some strides this year however Rockdale has more talented playmakers. Rockdale by 2 Tds.

Ok ya there is a #23 that plays fb and he's about 5'4" but solid as a damn rock... I wouldnt say break away speed but possibly the quickest player on the team and great balance when he runs.. Low center of gravity and hard to bring down

If they rely on the run they are pretty much playing right into the cards hands. They have a very good run defense as shown against royal. Cards by 14
