Yep, AP doesn't mean a thing now

I'm anxious to see the Harris

Harris Poll (http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings?poll=5) has only 23 teams ranked... it skipped #7 and #19. I'm not usually paying this close attention to the polls, so I don't know if this is a mistake or part of the way their ranking system works etc...

It has to be a mistake... but regardless, TCU jumped Boise in the Harris too

Any poll, USA Today Coaches poll in this case, that puts Nebraska ahead of Stanford, has more than a few morons on the panel. Nebraska was a bad pass on a 2pt conversion in OT at Iowa State to falling 10 places or more... and they move up 2 places?! And their 1 loss is to an abysmal Texas.
Stanford, on the other hand, completely dominates #15 Arizona, with the 7th ranked D in the country, and their 1 loss has come to #1 Oregon... a game they led 21-3 at one stage!

One website is saying TCU could jump Auburn when the BCS comes out this evening: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/511413-bcs-rankings-cam-newton-randy-moss-and-sundays-top-sports-news/entry/27279-bcs-standings-week-11-does-boise-state-have-a-chance-to-make-bcs-title-game

I don't see that happening though, I think when BCS comes out tonight Oregon will be way out in front, followed by Auburn and then TCU. The thing is, I think TCU is going to be right on Auburn's heals now and have a sizeable lead on Boise.

It all boils down to.... Can Alabama beat Auburn in a couple of weeks, or will Auburn lose in the SEC title game to put TCU at #2?

Cam Newton is showing he's the real deal...but I've a feeling Alabama is going to find a way to win that game, they will not fear Auburn and they should be pissed.
I don't think LSU wins out either, after two powder-puff games they go to Arkansas and I think Mallet & Co. take care of business.

I agree. Alabama and Arkansas could win big games to send TCU to the MNC

with the way the world goes wouldn't it be college fans luck for Oregon and Auburn to lose a game...leaving us with a TCU-Boise St NC game...

I think they both deserve a shot at it... it would suit me just fine to see those two in the NC game. Don't see Oregon slipping up though...
