Texas HS QBs...making a big splash on the national scene

Off the top of my head, these are the Texas HS QBs that are starting across the nation at D1 schools (the list excludes TX schools). Please add the ones that I miss.

Nick Foles-Arizona
Christian Ponder-Florida State
Jarrett Lee-LSU (Part-Time Starter)
Stump Godfrey-New Mexico
Ryan Mallett-Arkansas
G.J. Kinne-Gilmer
Kolton Browning-Louisiana Monroe
Ross Jenkins-Louisiana Tech

.........and we all know that there are just as many that play in our great state!

I can't remember his name, but the QB at Oregon is from Texas. He played high school ball in Houston.

Although Gilmer peeps may think so, in most people's eyes, they are not a D1 University....I actually meant to write "Tulsa" for G.J. Kinne.

Tulsa is the smallest FBS school, they are Division 1. Who cares what others think lol if you're D 1... you're D 1.

I agree with you 100%. I was referring to Gilmer not being D1. I had a typo in my original post.
