D2 has to be Brownwood unless Brownwood beats them.

D1 will be Celina, or Sealy IMO. We have to get by Sanger first though and that looks to be a heck of a task. Then Lovejoy will be another big test.

Sealy is good, no doubt. And admittedly I havent seen any of the other D1 teams play this year...but I HAVE seen more than a few State Champions play over the last 5 years (five, to be exact). And its my opinion that Sealy isnt going to make it....unless D1 is weaker than expected this year. No offense intended, so everyone settle down. But the truth is...they have holes in their game that your standard deep play off team will exploit. I have the same questions about Wimberley too, as I have posted before. But what I saw in the one game (granted...ONE game) is that Sealy will be a far stronger contender NEXT year than this year.

Now here is my "qualifier". I have seen teams (Wimberley 05 included) that absolutely turned it up and performed far above their regular season performance in the play offs. That is my prediction, I suppose....if Sealy wins it all, they are going to have to improve considerably over their regular season performance. This is totally different than (lets say) Brownwood <bows head>. All they have to do is perform like they have over the last 10 games and they will win it. But can they?

The thing about Brownwood is you can score against them, but they don't care. They know you can get in a few times and put a few points on the board, but they also know you can't stop them from cramming the ball down your throat! They just execute and if you make a mistake it's points on the board for them. Ask anybody thats played them. They play their game, they walk away with the prize!!
