Statically these two are pretty evenly matched. Alvarado (9-1) is a little more run oriented with a smash mouth comin' at ya type of offense. Mineral Wells (6-4) has a lot of speed and can air it out as the QB is 2nd in the DFW in 3A passing yards. Mineral Wells 6-4 record may be a little misleading as 3 of the losses were to playoff teams: Argyle, Graham by 1 & Iowa Park by 7. The Rams are on a roll having won 6 in a row. Alvarado is a really good team, although, they barely got by West last week, which Kennedale destroyed last night and the Indians beat Kennedale...go figure this one...The one team in common is Bridgeport which Alvarado beat by 7 and Mineral Wells beat by 10 in OT. If the Rams play all 4 qtrs. like they are capable this should be a good game.
