I heard there were 3 others injured last night too, obviously Foneville is the most severe, but 3 other starters Alana, Burtschell, and Kutz. It just doesnt end, it seems.

What can you say about all these injuries? I have seen other teams go through them, but never ours at this level. You just gotta hope and pray that the injuries are recoverable, be thankful the kids are going to be ok, and dig down deep to overcome. Kind of puts it in perspective...it IS just a game.

It was the younger Foneville, whose older brother was out all season due to a knee injury (older brother is back in now). I was just told by a coach that Foneville is OK!!! The other 3 injuried are all "ok", though it seems at least one is season ending, maybe 2. But the good news....all are ok!

So how many total starters are out right now for Wimberley? Like how many injuries have yall had to starters the entire season that are still in effect for the first round game?

Thanks for the info wimbo_pro. All of us love the game of football. These kids put their lives and future on the line every week for the pleasure of the spectator but mainly for the passion of the game. Let us not forget that.

I dont know anymore, DaddyD11...so many over the weeks and months...some coming in, others not...its been unbelievable. I would guess that over all, where we stand today is probably 4 starters are out, assuming Dennis Smith returns this coming week (make it five if he does not). They might hold him out one more week, I dont know. So...4-to-5, I'd say. But then again, the 4 who got injured last night are NOT included in this number. I think one was a concussion, so chances are he is out for the week at a minimum.one is out for sure for the year. I just am not sure anymore.
