The fact that N'ville is up on them is a bit of a surprise. I'm wondering which aspect of Needville's game Sweeny is having trouble with. Maybe they're not as big as the jays up front? Hey maxpreps has stats of needville and that district! Needville doesn't really have no one explosive on the run compared to Mathis. I believe there last two games they just started to jell. Not unless there defense is really good. Check it out when ya have time.

K pretty good game for awhile but RF offensively struggle in this game like most of the year. Mathis keeps getting better in their passing game but lack timing to their speedy backs, watch out if the QB can hit them in stride.

The District 30-3A trophy was presented to Coach Allen and the Pirates on the field by the Supt. and school board members. Goliad team showed alot of sportmanship after the game by huddling and mingling with the Sinton team on the field as the trophy was presented and even sang the the Sinton school song with them on the field. A very Classy gesture indeed!

Thank you Vra. I thought that was going to be it especially since they awaited till the game was well in hand to make the announcement. Very nice indeed and it was good sportsmanship by the Goliad team.
