Seeing 44INAROW's thread about former Cuero coaches coming to booster club got me to thinking about coaches that have passed through Cuero or played at Cuero. I am relatively new to town having only been here for 10 years. Here is the start of my list. Everyone add onto this.

Bill Littleton - Head Coach McAllen Memorial
Mark Reeve - Defensive Coordinator Texas Lutheran University
Monty Stumbaugh - Head Coach Port Isabel
Mickey Finley - Head Coach Victoria East
Travis Reeve - Offensive Coordinator San Antonio Churchill
Clint Finley - Head Coach Los Fresnos?
Kevin Parma - Victoria East
Ricky Bivins - Victoria East?

There are so many that I cannot remember. Somebody start filling in the blanks.

The Roark brothers?
There should be lots of people that have come through here.

Wade Birchum is the DC at Edna. He played on the '87 state championship team.

Wade Birchum is from Cuero but was not on the '87 State Champion Team. He graduated in '87 which made him a member of the '86 State Finalsist team.

the folks of Cuero should be really proud of this coach he has done well where ever he's gone. A very good recruiter and coach.

Jerome Perry, one of my best friends and a ex-Cuero Gobbler player, is the current coach of the Yoakum CYFL senior Blue Dawgs.:)

I've thought Cuero would probably be one of the best places in the state to live.....you have a great balance of ethnic groups there and balance of social economic status...............when studying the area in College (was a geography minor) the area was known as the shatter belt cause of the different Euro-Groups, Mexican and Afro-Am populations that settled the area.

Ryan Roark - HC at Needville
Rusty Roark - Monahans?
Rusty Buzzard - Coleman?

Anyone know where Mike Fox is now? He played on the 74 and 75 Championship teams and was coaching but I haven't heard since 96 where he is..
