Dang that Brownwood those mighty Lions,
Kick everyone's ass without even tryin'!
Celina saids come, come play with us,
We'll send ya home cryin' on that big yellow bus!
But the Lions use Southwest, they go a flyin'!
ok...ok....here's another one....don't interupt me....or I'll lose it...
West Columbia Roughnecks that's their name,
No one can stop that mean running game!
That defense is nasty they don't mess around,
If you're toting the rock you'll soon hit the ground!
If they do get knocked out, it's the Pirates to blame!

Your limericks are weak and borderline gay,
The limp wristed rhymes tend to ruin my day,
With each new thread i hope it will be the one,
But i am always let down and wish your limerick days were done,
My daddy taught me to come hard or not at all,
You shoulda learned this insteada' shoppin at the mall,
So like the Necks runnin game stick to what you know,
Lettin people see you at the circus freak show.

You're right MoveIn, like I said, he's got some talent. Does need to shorten some of those lines for better effect. I only wish he would'nt use the "gay" term. Sure seems like every young kid these days does that. Plus, baseballcoach might end up with one of his own kids turnin' out gay. You just never know....
Funny thing is, a friend of mine's kid is gay. He's also bout 6-4 220lbs. and could probably kick ol' baseballcoach's ass pretty quick! lol.....

I have 3 kid, including 2 boys 18 and 16, and they use to term 'gay' repeatably... as does my 13 yr old daughter on occasion. However, it rarely, if ever really, is used to refer to an individual as being a homosexual. When they do say it and I'm around, I often challenge them to expand their vocabulary... saying 'that's just gay' is meaningless.

they have certain rules with which you must stick
Five line poem with lines one, two and five sounding the same
Then also lines three and four must bring you no shame

Whoops...I must have been asleep, or skipping class when we covered limericks. I faintly remember Haiku's in 5th grade, but I missed most of that when I got sent of class for saying it was gay.

Well said! Yeah, I've caught my two boys saying the same thing, only I was verbally a bit harsher on them. Saying stuff like that especially in public can get you in trouble these days.

This Friday Wylie and Brownwood will get in a mix
When it's over the the dawg's will feel like they just got fixed
Wylie should still be in the playoffs for at least one week
Too bad this season Wylie never did peak
Does not matter cause after this Friday they will be 4 and 6

But they love their team and town, just like we all do
The Dawgs have had their number since they dropped to 3A
This Friday Brownwood gets the chance to finally have their say
But even if they shut us out, they'll still be 1 and 2

At least on the downlow Garcia and CCMom have stayed
As the rest of the fans to Abilene high have strayed
