There are some pretty good one-loss teams out there but who is the best one-loss team in your mind?

Snyder vs Lovejoy is a matchup of 1 loss teams I'd pay money and drive to see... Too bad it can't happen.

May not be the best in 3A, but West Columbia is 9-0 since losing their opening game to 4A Brazosport. Along the way, WC beat Sweeny, who beat Brazosport by 2 TD's?

Just goes to show you, this team has improved drastically. Some signature wins: 4A Bay City, Sweeny, & LaGrange.

And if you like scrimmages, WC dominated Royal and 4A Angleton.

Some pretty good one loss teams are:

Lovejoy 8-1
Sealy 8-1
Alvarado 8-1
Burnet 8-1
Tyler C.H. 8-1
Caldwell 8-1
Dallas Madison 8-1

Plus Several 2 and 3 loss teams including:

W.O.S. 6-2
Carthage 7-2
Cuero 7-2
Gilmer 6-3
Kennedale 7-2
Navasota 7-2

I would add Navasota to the 2 loss teams. The 2 loses came to a vastly improved 4a Bryan Rudder team and an undefeated 4th ranked Cameron Yoe.

I wouldn't even count Brownwood as a loss. That's just more of a given.

I'll bite, Snickerdoodle Snyder with Ward is dangerous. Whoever they catch in the playoffs better be working on defense.

Say what? Henderson will wipe the smile off CH in a hurry.

I'll second the vote for Snyder, they may have two loses but they are still pretty good.

I think Chapel Hill is a little better than Henderson at this point. I would love to see that matchup, though, and it definitely could happen, but it probably wouldn't be until the semis. Am I right?
