Sorry, if I offend anybody, but Carrollton Ranchview in the playoffs is just a bad joke...with 62, 74 and 83 pts hung on them in games this year!? Congrats Prosper, due to your scheduling genius, you get to play them again... that's how you open up that can of worms ;)

that won't be any worse than those years of poor Emory Rains havin to play Celina in the 1st round a couple years....1500-2000 orange clad on 1 side and about 60-70 Rains parents on the other side and it was over by the 3rd possession.....

Anna went in 2005 in 2A. Came from 22 points down on the road to beat Karrington Bush and Whitewright in OT to clinch in Week 9. Nobody saw that coming.

The last time Anna went to the playoffs before that was in 1981.

This is Anna's first 3A playoff. As they grow, they'll be back more and more.

thanks for that info. I had forgotten about 05 since i havent followed 2A as well as i used to. Maybe i was thinking of princeton in 76 or 79?

I do think Anna has been on the upswing for several years. That growth in Melissa will eventually hit them hard too, and the town is already looking up.

Princeton doesn't get it much better. First time in the playoffs since 1976 and they see Madison first round.
