Anyone got info on their first round site, date opponent etc??

Dallas Madison is playing Princeton at Royse City....just dont' know the date yet

Between District 25 and 26, I believe it is:

Division I - Burnet vs. Canyon Lake or Boerne

Division II - Liberty Hill vs. Geronimo Navarro
Wimberley vs. Llano

Celina vs Sanger don't know the date, but I would think Friday night probably at CH Collins in Denton or Lobo Stadium in Little Elm.

Snyder vs Iowa Park

First round playoff games if Burkburnett beats Bowie:

D1:
Wylie vs Burkburnett

Brownwood vs Iowa Park
Snyder vs Graham


This is all assuming Snyder beats Big Spring. If Big Spring beat Snyder and Bwood beats Wylie it would create a 3 way tie for 2nd between Wylie, Big Spring, and Snyder... of which they all beat each other so it would go to points.

The D31/D32 games are nowhere close to being finalized.....blame D31 for this, only 2 playoff spots have been claimed, the 3rd playoff spot is down to 2 teams. If CC Miller gets in they go D1 but if CC West Oso gets in then they go D2 with Robstown going D1.

D32 playoff spots are all set with Zapata, Port Isabel and Rio Hondo. Zapata is the D1 rep. PI and RH are playing Week 10 to determine top seeding in the D2 bracket (and also for district championship)

Devine and Hondo will play this week, if Hondo beats Devine their will be a three way tie for first. Devine being the second smallest school will always get D2 regardless if they win District.

Boerne is unlikely to make it but they are not "out of it" yet. It's unlikely Boerne beats Wimberley, but if they do *and* if CL loses on Friday, Boerne would be in.

Having said that, with at least 95% confidence I'd say Canyon Lake will be in to face Burnet in D1.

I would imagine, IF Gilmer wins Friday, that the game with Liberty-Eylau would be in Longview Lobo Stadium, if history is any guide. But I have not even heard about location discussions, to be honest.

Interestingly, as I understand it, if Gilmer were to lose by only one point to Pittsburg, it'd still go to the playoffs. If it's a 2-point loss, the point differential tiebreaker is tied and I don't know what the next tiebreaker is, in that case. If the loss is by 3 or more, Pittsburg goes and Gilmer stays home. Best thing to do is just win big at home and move on.

Matt, don't Prosper and Princeton have to play for second place in district 10 next week? Then if Princeton wins, they wouldn't have to play Madison. Am I missing something?
