LOL I have been kind of going back and fourth with this game and McGregor Vs. Marin and didnt hear that one....but wow that is pretty funny.

Wow, just got home. I would've needed a chinese abacus and a supercomputer to keep up with all the penalties against the Buffs. Yes, most all were legit but the only flags I saw against RD was offsides on a PAT and 1 procedure maybe. The Buffs had so many flags it would take two big boxes of Tide to get all the dirty laundry clean. I saw a blitzing Buff get facemasked by the back and no call right in front of the backfield ref.

Anyway, the young running backs turned in awesome performances. Good thing since our older ones are limping on the sidelines. #28 and #12 are really something to watch. Young Fitzhenry played a great game. He was downfield blocking if he wasn't carrying the ball. O-line looked great.

Defense created so many turnovers, I feel that was what mostly took the tigers out of the game. The linebackers really stepped it up and played lights out. Pass defense intercepted 2 or 3 times.

Rockdale's #6 had his ankle taped up after halftime but he's a really gamer. #5 had a tough night, I don't think he had many yards total. #15 came in and had a spark for the offense. I think the tigers were wore out. Some players playing both ways. I was surprised that not many RD fans made the trip. I'd say the visitors side was 40-50% full. Hope y'all make it home safe.

Now now, your gonna get BBDE mad at you. Actually, I only saw him throw 1 wobbly pass. Many of the throws were under pressure and some were just desperation trying to make something happen.

Sounds like Rockdale couldn't control turnovers. Has this been a problem all season or has Giddings worked on strip drills? Great job Buffs!

I think the Buffs are really starting to gell. You can see everyone on the offense throwing blocks, especially downfield. Of course last night there were two phantom illegal blocks costing us at least 30 yards net each.

I say this was their "statement" game. After losing a heartbreaker to Caldwell they were down on themselves. Winning against Smithville like they did was good but everyone expected them to win. But now that they dominated RD after many thought they would struggle, they now know what they're capable of if they can hold onto the ball.

Awesome performance Buffs!

Sounds like Rockdale had a few turnovers, knew Rockdale would have to play a perfect game to beat Giddings in Giddings. It does appear Giddings is jelling at the right time, Navasota will have a hard time with Giddings next week. Congrats to Giddings and good luck in the playoffs.
