The kick goes out of bounds so Farmers take over at the 40 and Prosper starts using their timeouts to try to get another possession before the half. The Prosper coach almost had his arse handed to him by some Farmersville parents. I guess tons of money doesn't mean you have any class!

IMO they CAN be beat... WO-S played them in the first game after the tragic death of our QB, we led them 7-6 at halftime in that game and ended up losing 14-28.

Coldspring also played them very closely.

Don't get me wrong, they are the real deal.... they have been to the 2A State Finals the past 2 years in a row but they are one of the smallest 3A schools in the state and depth is a problem. I look forward to WO-S hopefully having a rematch with either Kirbyville or Coldspring in the D2 Quarters to avenge our losses to both over the past year but realize we have quite a few obstacles to overcome to get there...

Thanks WOS. I ask, b/c I have roots in East Texas (San Augustine), but grew up in Brownwood. I remember some of the K-ville teams from the mid to late 80s.

I also have a few nephews that play freshman ball for WOS....Brownwood boys!

40-0 Prosper over Farmersville. For all those who were saying Prosper was not very good....They sure looked pretty good to me and looked like a team to be reckoned with come playoff time! I think if they had to play Lovejoy again, it might be a different outcome! They were hitting on all eight cylinders tonight. I am sure Farmersville made em look all that much better seeing as how we stink pretty bad this year, but still their quarterback is a beast and their lineman are big and athletic!

Farmer fan made the comment about them kicking the onside kick and calling time outs right before the half leading 35-0. I am sure they were trying to work on their two minute offense and prepare for the playoff's, etc...They did call the dogs off bigtime in the second half, so I will take it with a grain of salt, but I still think it was pretty bad sportsmanship on their part though! Looks like Lovejoy and Celina are on a collision course to play one another come playoff time! That will be one helluva game! I will have to go to that one!
