Last Year: 10-3 Regional Semi-Finalist
Starters Returning: 4 offense 7 defense
Key Players: LB Frank Ortiz, RB/DB Darren Haddock, WR John Scroggins
Matthew328's outlook: Hutch had a big season last year with their most wins since winning the 4A tittle in 1990...however some rebuilding needs to be done on offense after Hutch lost their main 2 weapons on offense...however the line is basically intact and Hutch always seems to have a good back or two or three...Haddock looks to be the main back, he is not as fast as L'Neric Edwards was but at 6'1 225 and with a 4.6 40 he will be a load to bring down..Scroggins has all the tools to be a great reciever and has gotten many intrest from D-1 scouts after a great 7 on 7 season..but defense will be Hutch's strength..Ortiz was the defensive MVP in 10-3A which is an acievement in itself with 3 first or second team all-state players from Everman in that district...Ortiz is Hutch's Ray Lewis he is fast and doesn't miss tackles and with the 2 big tackles for Hutch back they tie blockers up and let him roam free..if Hutch can find a QB they could be really dangerous because they will be one of the best defensive teams in the state...
