La Grange Freshmen/JV won 24 - 0 over Caldwell Freshmen/JV

Caldwell did not have enough players to have a Freshmen and a JV game - numbers that low in Caldwell?

Houston Washington, Palacios, and Wharton all have just one "sub-varsity". Kind of helped our freshman as we only had just over 20 ourselves!! We won all three of those so that was nice.:)

This one really stings because four of their 5 TDs came from a RB that we had in OUR junior high the previous 2 seasons. I do wish him well though as he is a great kid with exceptional skills. His name is Dante' Lemon and you will be hearing alot about him in the next 2-3 years I predict. From what I gather, he moved to Sweeny for a better home-life and you can't fault him or his folks for that.:clap:

Wow that is suprising. We played the current Caldwell freshmen the last two years and they used to have pretty decent teams. We scrimmaged them this year and it was like they didnt know what they were doing. Im guessing quite a few got moved up to JV which I dont understand unless you just dont have the numbers...which I kind of find surprising for Caldwell.

Brownwood Freshman beat Sweetwater 20-6. Bwd JV also won, but don't recall the score.
