I know this isn't sports related and it's the middle of football season so this shouldn't be on the main board, but I don't care.

My friend Scott used to be on the drumline at West Columbia. He graduated last year, worked a few jobs, played in a few bands, had a good life, etc.

He's been sick the last month and earlier this week he went to the hospital because he was really weak. His kidneys shut down, he's currently on dialysis, his vision is basically gone, he may have had a few small strokes, he has pneumonia, he's been sedated the past few days and has finally started to wake up.

He's having a rough time of it, basically. If you have some time tonight, can you pray for him? He needs it.

Yeah. The last thing I heard is he's doing a little better. He was awake for a little while today. Hopefully they figure out what's going on soon.

Thanks everyone.

They found a tumor on his kidney earlier today. They're gonna operate in the next few days and remove the kidney. There's evidence of another spot somewhere else, but they haven't been able to locate it yet.

My friend is still not doing well. There's an infection in his lungs now. They did some more tests today.

We started a Causes page on Facebook. It'd be nice if you could join so when he wakes up he'll be able to look at it and see how many people have been praying for him.

New update:

His kidneys are starting to return to their original size. He is off the feeding tube and breathing tube. He is doing dialysis 3 times a week. The doctors also said he might never be able to see again. D=
