This is surprisingly a good game. With 7:37 left in the third quarter it is all tied up at 21-21. Much more fun than watching the Rangers blow the series.

DD they could hear the Pelican West Band at their place at 410 Padre Blvd.

This game has been an example of momentum changes. NCS had it the first part and got a 7 - 0 lead then FS had it the rest of the first half and got a 21-7 lead. Now it has changed back to NCS and they have scored two tds to tie it in the third quarter. It is still tied at 21 all with 5:24 left in the third quarter.

FS is ranked No. 16 and favored but this could be another upset. NC has moved the ball well but may have killed themselves with a costly penalty that may have ruined a promising drive just now. End of the third quarter now and still 21 all.

I am very impressed with NC being able to move the ball now. Buy they got to the red zone and an interception kills the drive. This could change the momemtum. We will see.

NC had a perfect chance for a good stop but overpursued and FS gets a big first down.

FS threatening! Momemtum changing. Too bad NCS turned it over.

NC holds them to a field goal and FS is up 24-21 with 9:07 left but I feel NC can move the ball if they don't make silly mistakes.

FSU could have made a first down if the QB had run correctly so NC holds them to a field goal which is a break.

FSU is moving but can they keep going and use up a lot of clock.

NC has big third down and don't convert with 4:52 left in the game. I don't know if they will go for it or try a field goal. Both teams have all 3 of their time outs.

NCS makes first down on fourth down and are at the one yard line. Two tries don't make it. Third and goal fails. They are one inch away on fourth down. NCS calls time out with 2:44 left. I think they should go for it since they are only an inch away because even if they don't make it they will be able to stop the clock twice and probably get good field position. Then maybe they will play it safe for the field goal. We will see. A thrilling game so far.

NCS goes for it and throws a td pass and takes the lead 28 to 24!
What a call! Especially since it worked. :)

This is going to be a great game no matter what. FS must make a td now but they have time with 2:40 left and all three timeouts. We will see. Can NC defense make a stop and win the game or will FS move down for the winning td. Remember a field goal does FS no good so they must get a td. Hang on to your hats!

FS moves to nNC 15 . Third and five and run inside the ten. Clock not a factor ut 1:15 left. First and goal.

Time not a factor with second and goal. A great game but I think FS is going to pull it out. They are at about the four. Second down with 53 seconds but FS has two time outs left.

FUMBLE! NC recovers! But unsportsman conduct puts the ball at NC 2.

Now unsportsmanlike conduct against FS gives NC first down. Too bad because they might have had a last second shot at it.

Well FS would have been able to have stopped the clock on third down and it would have run out anyway. Time runs out as NC wins! A great game indeed.
