Even good pitchers have to have great location against MLB hitters. Lee didn't have location tonight.

I worried about this. Everybody praised Cliff Lee, including myself, as a pitcher who couldn't lose. We hoped he would be immortal forever, but that's not the case. Rangers have some serious catching up to do against Lincecum who has been rock solid after the first two innings.

LOL..I dont think being prepared is the issue..that "jacking around" is why they have bounced back time after time when they have been buried

They did all the damage with 2 outs. Had we been "better prepared" maybe we get the last out and only down by a couple runs. Lol this is bandwagon fan comments! You go watch something else I'm gunna see if we can come back.

Fans tend to forget our teams we support ARE playing opponents. Games are not always won and loss because of simply what your team does in the game but also how good or bad the opponent plays.

My point is lee was missing location and got hit and oday didn't get his job done when he came in. If you execute it makes you look prepared. When you don't it looks ugly. Go Rangers!

I was made the comment they are not prepared beacuse of Lee's performance, then O' Day and Andurs when he could pick up the ground ball and the fact that they were messing around during practice. I admit that saying they were not prepapred was not the right word to use.

I think the 9 days off might have hurt Lee just a little. He was off tonight, but he is the reason the Rangers are there. You can't win them all. That is why it is a best of 7 series.

Not prepared really what do you want them to do walking around with stern faces all day yesterday. This is how they have been all season if thats your team idenity than you have to be that no matter if your playing on June 3rd or October 27th.

Bad pitching against MLB hitting gets exposed! Hitting is contagious! I don't care if we lose 15-2 or 1-0. It's still a loss

Michael Young and Vlad showed veteran leadership tonight. Cliff Lee did not have his normal great stuff. I can't believe they did not drive "Linament" out of this game. He doesn't look that good. Then Ron Letmeoverthinkit Washington takes out a guy striking out the side to put in Darren Serveitup OKay. Oh well at least that wasn't the last game.

Did you watch the same game everyone else watched?

Vlad and his back to back errors?
Young and his error?
Lee was serving his pitches perfectly to the batters to smash.

I'm interested to see how Cliff Lee responds in Game 5, if it gets there, after losing his first postseason game.

He looked like a guy who wasn't going to go away quietly when Wash pulled him last night

I bet he is un-touchable in game 5. All this loss means, is that the Rangers are going to have to lean on CJ more than they had to against the Yanks.

My prediction, if CJ is good, the Rangers will be fine.

Don't underestimate Lewis. He took it to the Yankees in both games he pitched against them. He is a legit MLB pitcher.

He certainly is a strange looking fella for the sport of baseball. I wanted to put that hair of his in a ponytail. Interesting, but he DID get the job done.

Disappointing evening all the way around with those Ranger errors as well.

Here's hoping Game 2 has a completely different attitude and outcome.

I actually had a feeling something like this might happen. Two things that have gotten the Rangers into this series to begin with were absent last night --- pitching and defense. The Rangers just have to forget about last night, regroup, and try again tonight. Lee didn't have his normal stuff last night, and the layoff is more to blame for that than anything. That's one reason I don't like the several days off before starting a series. If this series would've started a couple of days ago, I would've liked the Rangers chances of being sharp. C.J. Wilson must have a good start tonight, and the defense has to play better. I believe C.J. will get it done tonight.

I could see him being a surfer or perhaps doing yoga between innings to maintain "inner" peace or something. Oh well, each to his own. Whatever he does works rather well for him. He sure looked awkward at bat though. :)

If Texas gets timely hitting they can put runs on Cain, he puts people on base, but does a good job of pitching out of jams

While he has not given up an ER...he has put on 17 runners in 13 ip..so Texas has to go back to the great clutch hitting of the Yank series.

Cain is good but who haven't the Rangers hit this postseason hit Price hit Sabathia hit Lincecum pretty well last night. CJ and Colby match up well with free swinging teams so I like our chances in getting the next two games no doubt in my mind who the best team in this series is. Please Please sit Vlad.
