I've got to vote for the Bears. But...if we turn the ball over, we will lose. It doesn't matter who we play. The Bears do not have enough talent to make mistakes and win games. They'll play hard the entire game, but the limited talent pool does not afford us to make it any easier on the opponent.

I think Coach Lock will have his boys pumped up. Win and the Tribe makes the playoffs. Lose and it's time to get out the basketball shoes. All of the hype of winning all these games after a horrible 1-9 season won't mean anything if Gonzales doesn't win this week because Cuero will take any advantage and exploit it to the fullest.

so you'd rather be 1-9 arges than to win 7 games? wrong!!

I say the Apaches take it. I think it will be close game, but the Apaches are getting kind of used to those. The Tribe can be very surprising at times. I know La Vernia has the home advantage but the fans that travel for Gonzales are sometimes better than the ones that are at home. The traveling fans are die-hards, and are fully into the game. They will help pump up the boys well and I say Apaches take this one by 7.

Gonzales takes it, but it will be close. Skill players for Gonzales will prevail. Apache defense and special teams have scored in every game except Sam Houston and I think they set up the lone score the Apaches got in that one. Tribe will be pumped for this one. Gonna be a snot blaster for sure.

I will stick with my preseason picks
I will say LV takes this game
If this happens If my math adds up, then That will leave both teams with 2 L's and LV will then have the tie breaker if they ended up even. Gonzales would then need to hope SH beats Cuero this friday and then Gonzales would need to also beat Cuero to force a three way tie for 2nd and 3rd and then it would go to tiebreakers. If Gonzales cant win at LV and Cuero beats SH, than Gonzales is done because both LV and SH would own the tiebreaker with Gonzales. HUGE GAME IN LV this week as well as in Cuero

If we happen to lose at LV, It will just make us stronger for the cuero game. Nobody has thought about if we do beat LV, then we beat cuero we will all be tied up. only if cuero beats SH.:)
But, I not saying we are going to lose. I am just saying if it happens that way.

We got this all the way:p

This week wont necessarily decide it if La Vernia wins. La Vernial still has to play Pleasanton, and that is no gimme game as I'm sure Gonzales can attest.

Both teams have good coaches and I'm sure both teams will play lights out. A lot rides on the outcome of this game and the other disctirct contests as well. I say get ready for a wild ride all around the district this week!

Pleasanton is capable of Beating anybody on any given night...Especially when they decide to run the ball and work the clock....
