The parents of the band members don't even attend their home games. Really sad. I guess in the city you have more important business to attend then your kid's special moment.

Several city schools in SA are like that I have noticed. Just don't mean much to them to see Johnny play, or Jill cheer or march.

Like I said, they have so many other options for their Friday night entertainment in the city. But, I'd pick my kid's event over a night out on the town.

Cuero fan's will gladly take their seats at Gobbler Stadium. Heard they may be offering 2 for 1 tickets to make it happen.;)

The DT from Sam Houston is committed to UT and they have some other hog mollies on the line so running wont be easy . I see Cuero airing it out like they did against Yoakum and using our WR a little more than usual . The game should be a good one Im hoping Cuero can pull it out and keep the momentum going .:D

It's not that parents don't go watch Johnny play, it's that only the parents go watch Johnny play. In lots of big schools or cities, you get the parents and a few friends and class mates. It is the community that has something better to go do than support the local kids.

This could be the case. Excellent point. Wonder what the players from SH think when they see their opponents stands packed with raging nut's? Kinda deflating I would think.

SH will be tuff, they were last year. Got to hit em in the mouth and get them to talking crap to each other and you have half the battle won. They do get very tuff when you get inside the red zone. From what I have seen SH has alot of kids who will hit or push after every whistle. During the LV game #11 push or hit someone in the back almost every play nothing was called for some reason. Smack talk back and forth during the game is cool and part of the game for some teams. But the trying to hurt kids after the whistle is not part of the game.

Gotta stay composed CD regardless. I'm sure the officials will not see everything. And, often---they see the last one who counters.

Cuero is warned and fully aware of SH "city" style of play. I know Coach Owens will have them prepared and on guard. Gotta tire them big boy's out and protect the rock.

I was there and those guys didn't really show much against a weak LV team. The stuff on paper looks good, but between the lines is what counts.

Sam not as good as last year. The QB last year and RB last year made it happen for them. I think Cuero wins 28-13. Fill up the visitor side Cuero Sam wont bring very many fans. I think Sam will turn the ball over but Sam plays better away than at home. Their focus is better because of all the distractions at home.

Also at the game the Cuero Blue Santa Program will be set up taking toy doantions. Cuero PD, Cuero Fire, and Cuero EMS will be set up next to where the ambulance normally parks. So bring a toy for a young child. This is the program's first year, so they are trying to make it a successfull one.

sorry you couldn't hear it Rob but we got the W - so it's all good. if it makes you feel better - I didn't hear it either but my cell phone was "dinging" like crazy... I have bronchitis so I stayed home and listened..Johnny and I drove up and watched the last 2 mins of the 2nd quarter and 1st 5 mins of the 3rd quarter - I just had to go see how big those guys were..
