I agree that what you have stated makes since money wise, but dropping a team just because you are gonna make a little more money by playing another team is not worth it. If I remember correctly Celina would have played the game on a different week, but Coach Scott didn't want to do that either so then next thing you know here comes the mud slinging by Prosper saying Celina was scared. It's not good business to drop an opponent just to play somebody else you can respect that right?

The deal is no matter what anybody says Prosper people are going to say Celina was scared, but again Celina never said they wouldn't play they just said not on the date Prosper wanted because they already had a game lined up. Troy was a great Back no lie, but Anthony Garcia is is right up there with him. Besides you havent even seen him play so how would you know? Troy could do everything you could put him at right tackle and he would do a good job, but as far as running styles Garcia is right there with him he is fast very shifty and will lower his head when he needs to.

I wasn't there when Brownwood won their last championship. I am talking about people with experience in winning for a season and then dropping off. Also, remember, 4A is MUCH more competitive than 2A year in and year out.

So now you are saying a winning tradition means SC's only? Hmmmm :thinking: Until Celina wins another one, you are has been's, just like the rest of us. ;)

Everyone has a tendency to forget also that when Brownwood was winning most of their SC there was a different format to the playoffs. None of this opening the first couple of rounds of the playoffs playing 2nd and 3rd place teams. This has changed the whole complexion of the playoffs.
