D1 - most likely Silsbee
D2 - the winner of the WOS vs Bridge City game Saturday night (WO-S is 20-0-0 against BC all-time) will be top seed and likely District Champs since BC beat Silsbee, loser lower seed unless Hardin-Jefferson, Orangefield, or Hamshire-Fannett pull out a miracle.

D1 - Robstown*
D2A - Raymondville (locked)
D2B -

In the hunt: 2 games left
Lyford (1-2 district)
Miller (1-2 district)
West Oso (1-2 district)

*Robstown clinched a playoff birth but wont find out what bracket they will be in unless Miller loses one of the next 2 games for Robstown to secure D1. If Miller finds a way into the post season then Miller will go D1.

WC has secured the Div 1 spot.

Sweeny will likely be the Div 2 Champ and Needville is in the driver's seat for the Div 2 Runner-up. Although, the last game of the season is Sweeny/Needville and if the Jays pull out a miracle, then the Div 2 seeding would be reversed.

District 32

Lets see.....

Rio Hondo is 3-0 and in the driver's seat for the district title. They just beat Zapata last night in a track meet. They have 0-3 La Grulla in Week 9

Zapata is 2-1 and is MOST LIKELY going to be the D1 rep unless they slip against 1-2 La Feria in Week 9.

Port Isabel is 2-1 after a huge win vs. La Feria last night. They have 1-2 Progreso and the district's leading rusher next week. The Red Ants can play HUGE spoiler for Port Isabel if they manage to beat PI.

La Grulla is 0-3 and out of playoff contention.

Week 9 Games - Rio Hondo vs. La Grulla, Zapata vs. La Feria, Port Isabel vs. Progreso

Week 10 Games - Rio Hondo vs. Port Isabel, Zapata vs. La Grulla, Progreso vs. La Feria

District 27

Devine, Hondo, and Somerset have clinched playoff spots. Somerset will go D1. Rankings of D2 to be determined over the next two weeks as Hondo plays host to Somerset then travels to Devine.

a while back,I thought there was a thread by someone that predicted who would be playing who from each district.. and who would go D1 and D2.. did I maybe imagine that?

Last night sealy locked up the D 24 D1 spot other two teams will probably be BR and Columbus

The D1 spot isn't locked because if somehow stafford beats columbus and beats bellville they would take columbus's spot I'm pretty sure and they are the biggest school in the district lol
