View Full Version : Tough Time for Texas this weekend as Iowa State is coming!

This is a game that scares you. I know Iowa State has been getting beat but that is the catch. They will come to Austin determined to get a win. Remember a win over UT will make their season. We have to remember that Iowa State has had great teams in the past. In 1906 they had a great year going 9-1 with only a loss to a great Minnesota team. Plus last year we have to remember they actually beat Nebraska. So they will be coming to Austin with an attitude with BBs firing from their eyes. So UT must be ready.

Also Dish network (which I have) will not be broadcasting the game due to a dispute with Fox Network. So I won't be able to watch the game on tv but will have to listen to it on the radio. That increases the risk.

Scary Times Indeed! :(

distinct possibility Phil. Other than the Neb. game Texas has looked pretty sketchy. I'm willing to bet they lose at LEAST one more game before the season is done! HELLO Meineke Car Care Bowl!!

Iowa State did beat Texas Tech a couple of weeks ago 52-38. :D

I have the standing rule that if a team loses to Iowa State, then they were the worst team in the Big XII.

So, now I guess Tech has to leave the Big XII.

SOOOO.....Phil......appears you were right to be worried this time. Beware of the Howling Cyclone? Is it safe to coin that phrase after today? I like it. I think it'll catch on. ;)
