There has been an account set up at a credit union:

They suggested we include his address:

404 Clara Sorsby Lane
Texarkana, TX 75501

Make checks payable to:

Daniel Hines

and in the note section put "For deposit only" and they will deposit directly to his account.


If you have any further questions, they need to be directed to Sinton66, he sent me this info via text and will not be on the board until after 5:00 this afternoon.

I wish I was in a financial situation where I could afford to make a generous donation but as of now I cannot make a donation. Maybe down the line I will be able to make a donation or help out the family somehow.

How long will they have this account? Because it would be nice to donate some now and then down the road when all the first donations run out.

This is actually Daniel's standing personal savings account, so it will stay there. I asked and was told he can withdraw funds at his discretion as he sees fit. This is the best way to get the money directly to the kids for their use and no one else gets a slice of it..

The lady said his address and such could be included in a note sent with the check, but be sure to put "For Deposit Only" on the check. If you want, include your username under your signature on the check, ie: "3ADL-sinton66". (But, that's entirely up to each of you).

I didn't think to ask if donations could be made with a credit card. If anyone wants to go that route, I'd suggest you call RRFCU and ask for Kathy in Customer Accounts. She is very helpful and should be able to guide you if it's possible. (903) 793-7681
