Well I guess I should go ahead and let the cat out of the bag....Since Celina and Pilot Point are only 15 miles apart, the two towns have decided to build a new HighSchool on Coach Moore's Ranch in Mustang and and become CPP consolidated. This will move our enrollement numbers up to 715 for next year. Still over a hundred short of some 3a schools, but we feel we will be able to compete. :D

ROFL..of course it is just a rumor...but what if? eek! eek! eek!

That would have to be one of the scarier things that could ever happen aside from injuries in HS football. Think of how long they would go without losing a game :-\

What if Newton & Jasper were to do a similar thing in East Texas? They are only 12 miles apart and could easily do something like that as well. However, I believe that may bump them up to 4A level. Still, they would be a force to recon with at that level.

Celina and Pilot Point added together would still fall 161 students short of Jasper....that was kinda the fun part of the Rumor. :p

Since we are talking about some football consolidations how about Jasper, Newton & Burkeville (A state champs 2001). These three together should still be 4A. All are only about 15 miles apart. That would be a sweet combo!
