Can't give the Yankees any breathing room! Just a little momentum and they could explode into a very dominating offensive team! I would prefer they end this thing today!!!!! Then everybody get some rest before meeting Giants/Phillies.

Wth Josh Hamilton playing like an absolute beast you gotta like the Rangers chances. One more home run in this series and he will have the record for most dongs against the yanks in the post season ever at 5.

Put it on the booooaaarrd yes!!!!!

Be an interesting game, lot of mental aspects to it... like how they bounce back just hours after getting whipped liked that. I think the Rangers will still be riding HIGH, while the Yanks won't have had time to get rid of the funk. For the record, I'm expecting the Rangers to lose, just I like I knew they were going down in the 5th inning last night ;)

So I have a question that I havn't found the answer.

CJ is pitching and his normal catcher is Treanor. With Molina hitting as well what do you do?

1. make CJ throw to Molina
2. save Molina for pinch hitting later in the game
3. bench Vlad and make Molina the DH(vlad was struggling until last game and became a monstor)

Thats the funny thing about baseball. Sometimes you can hit well and the ball just dosn't fall right. CJ struggled with command a bit which didn't help.

I think they will come out firing on Friday. It is a PrimeTime game(7 p.m.) so this will play into the Rangers favor. As a whole, they play much better in the evening at home than they do during the game.

Although I understand that it is really, really tough to beat a team like the Yankees in 3 straight games I am very worried about this kind of loss! I don't fear the Yankees offense so much as I fear the Rangers inconsistency. The Yankees were teeing off on CJ's "High School" pitches tonight and yet the Rangers were still in this game dispite playing very poorly but they couldn't put together any hits! I know CC is a tough pitchers but it seemed the Rangers would stand and watch fastballs go by in the middle of the plate and then swing at pitches 2' out of the strike zone. This was a very, very bad offensive effort from our Rangers. I sure hope the Ranger players aren't buying into the "game 7 w/ Cliff Lee is a lock" thinking and have started to celebrate a little early.

I sort of agree with parts of what you said. I do think the Rangers let off the throttle just a little. Yes CJ was throwing junk, he threw nothing like he did in game 1. I think with a good rear chewing and a slap in the rear he will throw better his next time out.

I think CC and the Yankee Pitching staff did just enough to win the game. They actually pitched really good when they got in a Jamb which was often. Seemed like everytime CC put somebody on base, he began throwing great pitches. Depending on the situation, pitches out of the strike zone, is favorable to the pitcher.

I just think the Yanks played a better ball game yesterday, nothing to worry about, coming home to a night game, the Rangers should be explosive. They are already hitting well, just need to straighten it out a bit.
