Life is about more than football. All players are very deserving, and Graylon Brown had a heck of a game, but an easy choice for Daniel Hines. Very classy indeed. LE Dad will be missed.

The Sinton Pirate Duo Carson Cave & Keith Garcia have been very busy this season putting up some big numbers being nominated as players of the week on Caller.com several times already. Congrats to these Pirates on their hard work on the field:clap:

Graylon is in my house enough to be my 4th son. I promise you he would not want a vote this week given the situation. Graylon was a monster in our biggest game yet. He'll get his POTW soon enough. Congrats young Mr. Hines. Your dad is proud looking down. God Bless you and your family.

Would you please change my vote from Graylon to Daniel. I can't imagine anyone more deserving this week. Gray is a great kid and will certainly back us on this one. Thanks!

I think when it is one of your own up there and you know they did an outstanding job, you automatically vote for them without reading anything else....that's just human nature!!

For all of you to come back and ask 66 to change your vote after you read why the first player was on the list, shows a lot of class, IMO!

I agree, RM.

But I gotta tell ya, I just know LeDad would have had something entertaining to say about all these Brownwood posters who didn't even bother to read the stats of the other players. LOL...it kinda made me smile and feel sad all at the same time. :) :(

Sorry but when the discussion first started on player of the week his name was not there. I was looking at our QB's stats. and reading the post that were talking about the kicker who had the great game. I saw that the disscussion was over and the nominations had been posted. After my vote I started reading the comments and realized what I missed. Once I saw that S-66 could change your vote I elected to do that.
Sorry if I made you feel sad.:(

No, I think you misunderstood me. I think it's great that you guys went back and changed your vote and I do think it's probably natural to just vote for your own player.

What I meant by it making me sad, is that LeDad wasn't here to poke fun at y'all for wearing maroon colored glasses, as I am certain he would have. ;)

you know that SOMEBODY has to open a thread of nothing but taking good hearted shots on brownwood posters in LE Dad's honor.....

maybe even the once in a lifetime shotthat some of them get to take some tongue in cheek shots at themselves.....he would love knowing his memory was bringing laughter thru the tears......
