Even though you can never imagine something like this happening, I think I speak for all Brownwood posters when I say we are all truly sad about this tragedy and we will miss LEDad and his love/hate for the Brownwood Lions. He was a true fan of the game and the 3adownlow family has lost a brother. God bless LEDad and his family.

That picture made me well up. I met LE Dad and his daughter twice this season, once in Tyler at the Gilmer/Atlanta game, and when LE came to Gilmer. We talked at length each time. I can honestly say he was a very good man, and one I considered a friend. I will miss him.....:(

Here is a little fact about The Harris Poll. The Harris Poll was started by a chain smoking Homer from Brownwood named John Harris. Brownwood has always been over ranked in this poll even though John Harris assumed room temperature several years ago from to many unfiltered camels.

I don't mind the likes of Lloyd Clippenger who actually played on the last championship team or Randy Weehunt who has followed the Lions as long as you have been on this world (I won't use there user as I have way too much respect for them).

Rocket on the other hand, you where still sucking on your mom's hind teat when Brownwood last won a state championship and probably have very little memory of that game against FB Willowridge.

You are a hypocrite my friend who disses about everyone here discussing the past, yet you bring up Stephenville a team you beat 10 days ago. The last time I checked that is in the past.

Brownwood is good this year I will grant you that but there are still 12 games left for the Lions to win. Don't put the cart in front of the horse yet.

It is very apparent to me you never sniffed Gordon Woods philosophy on winning because you certainly act like you have never been there before.

As a Brownwood fan, I am embarrassed that you behave this way. Maybe because you can hide behind your keyboard, tough guy!
