I have Cuero #2, and in a rematch with Wimberley, they'd win with their balance attack. The QB is coming along nicely. Great job Coach Owens.

Also have LaVernia ahead of Gonzales and SH. Time will prove that out.

I kinda float the area just watching some good football. Sealy/Wimberley was a good one. Seen LV over Giddings another, Cuero/PL, I got sick in that rain. I need to make a Sinton game. When's ya'lls big district matchup? Unless you done played it. Mathis I assume?

i think the bandera game was a fluke...bandera lost to fredericksburg big, burnet donkey stomped fredericksburg. since then we've held our own pretty well against everyone else we've played. not saying we should be much higher than that, but i do definitely believe we should be in the top 20 in the region.

I will agree with most of this new top 20.

Time will tell when these teams start to end reg season and start playoffs. Thats when a few on this list will be tested.

Yeah, Sinton plays at Mathis next Friday. If you go, get there EARLY and have someone from Sinton or Mathis pick up tickets for you first thing. They are gonna go very very fast. It will be standing room only.
I think this is an excellent game to judge the strength of the top teams from 30-3A.:nerd:

I can think of two possible top 30 teams, but not this.
lol I'm not talking about 2001 either.

Sinton is pretty good with a pretty decently balanced offense and defense.

Mathis has a decent defense, dominating rushing attack and enough passing to keep teams honest.

Opinions?

Not sure about Top 15, but in 1998 District 30-3A was pretty loaded. Sinton, West Oso, and Aransas Pass all had very good teams. If I'm not mistaken we beat AP in OT and lost to Oso in a close one, while AP beat Oso. I think we all shared the District Championship. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That might have been that Halloween game against AP I was thinking of.

I think both Sinton and Mathis look to be top 15 this year. Sinton and Ingleside lately have been good but these two teams this year might be a bit better.
