Glad to see Gardner get lifted for a pinch hitter. I feel much better without the threat of him getting on and wrecking havoc on the bases.

Yankees did what they needed to do in splitting the series in Texas. Now they go back to New York for 3, correct?

yes. But the Rangers also did what they needed to do. They've turned it into a best of five with Cliff Lee pitching in two of those five.

It is frustrating..Texas has basically dominated 16 of 18 innings..yes I am happy for 1-1..but dang 2-0 with Lee on deck would have been nice
