Nebraska probably wins, but it'll be a thriller I think.

Being a Longhorn fan I hate to say this, but I think Nebraska takes it by at least two TD's. If they can't stop that QB it could get real ugly.

They should give Case a chance. Gilbert isn't getting them anywhere anyways..High School Stud, College DUD, that's garrett gilbert for you.

Gilbert hasn't looked sharp but you can't blame it all on him. Those high school stud receivers haven't been able to catch it when he hits them between the eyes.

He's started all of 5 games...now that the BCS is off the table, you might as well see what he can do. What's the harm?

Davis should just let it rip from here on out.

Yeah. No one is performing. The receivers will be better next year too. They'll have the beast that is Jaxon Shipley.

Come on Texas! I have plenty of alcohol in the house in case this one gets ugly... so if my posts have a lot of misspelled words and don't make any sense later... that's probably a reflection on how the game is going.

The QB from Nebraska is a stud and should be in the Heisman talks even as a freshman.

As for Texas, they will be good on offense again next year as long as they spread it back out. I don't understand why they went back to this pro style running attack.

Next year with either Case McCoy or Gilbert, Mike Davis from Skyline and Jaxon Shipley at receiver, they are going to be just fine on offense.

As for today.... Nebraska by 24 points.

A TD would have been a huge confidence boost for this offense... but this is the first time all year Nebraska has been behind... I don't think it'll last though.

3-0 Texas

LOL, that has nothing to do with Nebraska's defense huh?

Win or lose we may be seeing this UT team grow up today and start to get their swagger back.

Some might, but he's been subpar in all the games thus far

BTW... I think Gilbert does have the tools... I just don't think his head has been in the right place at times this year.

Apparently the booth feels no need to review anything that would help Nebraska. Both the catch ruled incomplete and the punt where the UT guy clearly had his foot on the goal line when he batted it back weren't reviewed.

He's also had two sure TD's dropped in the endzone. He doesn't have last year's top receivers on this team. It's going to take a few games to get the passing game in sync, but it will happen.

Nebraska certainly benefitting from some BS calls now.

Blastoderm55

Bonehead play by Williams. It wasn't excessive, but it gave the refs a way to make up for the blown call on the play before.

The personal foul on #33 was Bs too. Should have been holding on nebraska.

I'm pretty sure that unsportsmanline conduct was a make up call

True... The first dropped TD should have been caught but was a difficult catch... the second one was no excuse.

With the lack of receivers it makes me think Jaxon Shipley will get plenty of playing time as a freshman next year.

You can have a foot on the goal line under NCAA rules

I have never seen a "big back" so easy to bring down as Cody Johnson. Seriously. He should not be lined up 7 yards deep. Seems like he runs out of gas before getting the hand-off.

Nebraska just got a very fortunate spot. Knee was down well behind the marker.

TWO blocks in the back on that return for a TD not called.

Yup... let's just hope the UT offense can get one first down here to run some clock and make them eat their timeouts.

Great win for the horns, this win could carry them to a great finish. I think Coach Mac made a bad decision , he should have kicked the FG.Win is a Win.

Now why don't the "GROUCHY" Texas fans shut your trap for a while and let the REAL Texas fans enjoy this victory. This is gonna be a great team.

When he had to run he did. Didn't see as much of that before. His team scored more points than the other team.

It wasn't their choice. The Big 12 sets the schedules. But they are lucky they didn't have to play them
