These two are not going to have the individual stats due to their coach's game calling for a team game, but tonight is a good example of the kind of stats we've been looking at this year.....

cody cummings #24, rb, 14 carries - 224 yards - 16 yd/carry avg, long run 40 yds, 2 tds

sherman gilbert #1, rb, 15 carries - 202 yards - 13.5 yd/carry avg, long run 73 yds, 3 tds

no 2nd half play for either.....

they surely individually don't rank with the brownwood qb's night but together for a half they more than contend.....their game scheme won't allow them to compete for potw individually but i figured it was time to publicize their stats.....they merit honorable mention, for sure......kinda hard to spy on just one in our backfield.....

How about the whole Brownwood Lions Team, they are something! Every player on this team should be reconized!

Keenan Ward of Snyder as runnerup! He is a hoss! 4 or 5 Wards on this team and they would be unstoppable.

Oh, and all three Chad Hedlund punts were downed inside the 20, two of them inside the 5.

There's no doubt this is a very impressive night for a high school PK. Sounds like he should be getting some serious looks from colleges.

If it weren't for the night that Graylon had, I would pick Chad. However, with the defense Snyder has, I can't not vote for him. This is not a homer pick. Six TDs and no INTs, with another TD rushing is too hard to ignore.

Does Argyle breed kickers? lol

2007 Argyle vs. Snyder played in Graham playoff game I remember Ben Parks, all-american if I remember right.

Easy pick here, Graylon was heads and shoulders above everyone on the field. He led his O to almost perfection

I know there are several great performances this week and Graylon's was spectacular, but in memorial for LEDad, how about naming his son as 3ADL Player of the Week. Not sure what his roll is for LE, but would be really special to nominate him as POTW for LEDad. I'm sure he plays with a lot of heart! Any thoughts on this?

I agree, if I remember correctly, Graylon might of won POTW against Stephenville. And I'm sure they great guy he is, would agree that sometimes there is a bigger cause to give to.

I vote LE-SON

I am sure Graylon, or any others of those that would be nominated would gladly give up POW for this young man.

I would love for it to be put to a vote so we can all support him in our own little way with a click of a mouse
