Columbia Roughnecks
Sweeny Bulldogs
Needville Bluejays
Palacios Sharks
Wharton Tigers

Five teams, three playoff spots. Currently seeded top to bottom above on overall record.

Who is in and why and who is definitely out and why?

If Palacios or Wharton wins the right game(s) and makes the playoffs, how would this affect the playoff seedings here? Would one of those two affect who goes Div. 1 and/or Div.2?

We know that WC is in for sure so who fights out for the rest of the playoff spots?

Columbia will beat Wharton, & pretty much lock up a playoff spot. They will go Div I no matter who else gets in. They also will have a bye the last week of the season to rest/heal up for the 1st round.

Sweeny has relied heavily on Lemon & Holmes the last couple of games. That combo will be enough to get them by Needville & give them the top seed in Div II.

The Needville-Wharton game will decide the 2nd seed. Needville had all kinds of trouble with Columbia's speed, but in general they are well coached, have a huge, powerful line, & don't make many mistakes. Wharton has had problems with their program the last few years, but they have a nice looking RB in DeShavian Williams. I don't know if that will be enough to beat Needville, but they gave Sweeny a pretty good scare last week. I'll know more about them after I see them this week, but for now I like Needville to take the 2nd seed...

We have already pulled the Goocher on that the last couple of games! We are due for a good one.
