My 81 year old grandmother found out she had a cancerous tumor probably a little over a year ago.... anyway, surgery was performed to remove it... but during surgery the doctor decided to remove quite a bit... gallbladder, complete hysterectomy, I think a portion of her liver, not sure what all... but a lot more than what was thought. Anyway, she went through chemo and has been off chemo a few months now. She went to the hospital last night with abdominal pain and an MRI showed a tumor. I hope she's strong enough to go through this one more time. She lives out of state and I haven't seen her in 5 or so years.... I need to get a trip up there planned soon.

Cancer is horrible... Thoughts and prayers for your grandma and family as ya'll battle through this.:(

I've sent a prayer, and will continue to send prayers. Sounds like a tough grandma. May God give her the strength to pull through and guide the hands and minds of all doctors involved in her treatment.

She's pretty tough... raised 6 kids and has gone through you know what this past year.

Prayers from the 'Skins family to you and yours. We know about the C word in my family. My dad, 3 uncles, 2 aunts and a GP are all gone because it.:( :( :(

I pray your GM is strong enough to over come more surgery.

Wanted to give an update:

She's going to have exploratory surgery in the morning... I'm going to head that way on Friday.
