The cool thing for me is that 2 of my sons played against him in high school.
Even though we lost one of my sons knocked him out in one of the games.

However, Colt is a good guy and I wish him luck in the NFL.

I'm looking forward to watching his first start! Just wish it was against a team other than the Steel Curtain...

Looks good so far

10/14 for 111 yards 1 INT

The INT went through the receivers hand into the defenders.

3rd and 10 at CLE 45 (Shotgun) C.McCoy pass deep left to E.Moore to PIT 36 for 19 yards (W.Gay) [J.Harrison]. Penalty on PIT-L.Woodley, Defensive Offside, declined.

With 10 completions for 111 yards that's averaging over 10 yards. Now some of that might have been run after catch.

Joe Montana spent a career throwing passes 10 yards and less and he seemed to do all right

Colr is actually perfect for the WC offense

He finished 23-33 for 281yds with 1 td and 2 int.'s

Not too bad for his first NFL start considering the circumstances.

He completed 69% of his passes. That's pretty dang good yes he did throw two ints. I saw him play his second game of his college career against Ohio State and he didn't do great but he turned out to be a great qb. I think he will do just fine in the NFL.

I saw him in the Big 12 Championship at Jerryworld last year and he had a terrible game but managed (just barely)to put his team in position to win at the end. I truly believe that he would have guided them to the National Championship if he hadn't been injured but we will never know.
I also think he will do OK in the NFL if he can stay healthy and that's a big IF.
