Snyder's only loss is 43-42 to Monahans, which is unbeaten and ranked in the AP Top 10.

Bridge City 5-1 lost to Kirbyville which in undefeated....and I feel they are the best team in Region III at the present time.

Only loss to a good 5-1 Whitehouse 4A team. Lopsided wins over quality teams like Carthage, 4A Hallsville, Lindale and Center.

Great athletes over there in C.Hill and it looks like the coaches have them playing well this year. They are gonna be a tough out this year.

West Columbia is 6-1. Only loss coming to 4A Brazosport 26-14 in a game in which WC dominated. Nearly doubled Brazosport in yardage and had them in first downs 11-5, I believe. It was the first game of the season and WC made a lot of mistakes (penalties & turnovers, etc). Ever since then, they've beaten a quality LaGrange team 51-41 and had good wins over 4A Bay City (22-13----- but the score was 22-7 until BC scored a garbage TD as time expired) and district rival Needville (38-7) among others.

The Roughnecks have some weaknesses, but have exhibited great team speed and an ability to fight through adversity. I like their chances to win the district against Sweeny and give someone a tough time in the playoffs.

P.S. WC pretty much dominated in both scrimmages against 4A powerhouse Angleton and Brookshire Royal. FWIW :nerd:
