Has to be the most exciting game i've ever seen.
Final Score was 35-34 Alvarado after some late game heroics by sophmore QB Kenny West.
I just noticed no one has really been commenting about. But has Alvarado finally gained some respect after wins over, Prosper, Bridgeport, and Kennedale.

I just feel we deserve atleast some respect. After a 15-14 victory over Prosper. A 35-27 victory over Bridgeport which we dominated for 3 quarters. And now 35-34 victory over Kennedale.

That was one heck of a game. Think its the best game ive seen so far this year.

Started out on the Alvarado side and moved over to the Kennedale side when the track meet started (2ND Half)

Things never went "real well" Friday night.....just "well enough"...but we will take it and get ready for next week!!!!!!!! Time to heal up...glad you enjoyed the show!!!!!

I am REALLY glad I went to that game. Dear lord, Alvarado gave up some size to Kennedale didnt they? Kennedale was way bigger than Alvarado up front on both side but the Indians found a way!!!!

Alvarado pretty much loses the size battle every week....but I will say K'dale was overly large somehow!!!!!!!

This was an awesome game... Glad I was there to witness it.
Alvarado making some noise... and Kennedale is good too.
As for noise on the board... Both Kennedale and Alvarado(obviously) can beat Bridgeport...

Alvarado can rightfully brag some, but Kennedale has historically had a hard time with the Bulls.

Things went well on offense Friday night except for the fumble inside our own 20 in the 4th. Defense showed a little vulnerability to the run, but with the kids Kennedale has in the backfield, most teams would and do!!! The Indians showed incredible poise on their last drive, I actually doubted them for the first time this year. I am now a full fledged card carrying believer.
Once again the coaching staff had the Indians well prepared, the calls on offense seemed to be the right call at the right time. These kids have alot of heart and never quit!!!!!!!

That # 40 for Kennedale is one of the best running backs ive seen all year. Dang! Big and Fast!

One of the Kennedale coaches said #40 is the #2 track prospect in the nation. He's already accepted a full ride to Texas Tech for track.

I picked Kennedale at the beginning of the year as the sleeper in Region I, but now I have to definitely throw Alvarado in the mix. The rest of Region I(yes that includes Brownwood) need to take notice. It could get very interesting come playoff time.

according to the playoff projections, Alvarado would go division 1 in the playoffs and play Mineral Wells in round 1.

Alvarado, Grandview, and Godley carrying the flag for Johnson county football this year..Burleson, Joshua, and Cleburne need to step their game up..
Beating Kennedale is impressive.
It is good to hear Alvarado getting it done.

You are correct, sir--I stand corrected...I honestly went on memory and I thought the majority of those close games were won by the Bulls. Been some great games between us though, and maybe we'll see each other in the playoffs. By the correct record, the Bulls have not had much success against Kennedale.
