3. Monahans - Just needs a stiffer test to get more love
4. Bridgeport - Making mistakes but winning against good teams

Wins over Bridgeport, Prosper, and Kennedale.

Dont expect to get much respect just a winning a few games! This is the first time alvarado has beaten a decent team in years.

You know not of what you speak. Two years ago the Indians beat Waco Midway ... happened to be their only loss until the state semifinals. The Indians have been close to wins over Kennedale and Prosper in each of the last couple years the bounces just happen to be going their way this year.

So you are saying for a team to be in your top 5 for this year they have to have been good for the past few years? I don't understand tghe logic.

Why is everyone ranking Snyder in top 5? Monahans with 4/4 return letterman beat them in their own back yard with 16 players out. Then after they go out and beat Scrub teams.Everyone bites into the hype that they are much better and different team. When Monahans plays Scrub teams we are just overrated and havent played nobody...Brownwood will exploit that 1 man of Snyder...

Wins over Bridgeport, Prosper, and Kennedale. That's what I was thinking. How can you have Kennedale and Bridgeport ranked, but not Alvarado when they've beaten both of them?

I guess I'll use this thread to compile a top ten for the Region I
page. I didn't bother doing one last week because only three or
four posters (including me) bothered to post a top ten. :dispntd:

No disrespect to Monahans but I don't think you are better than Snyder. You beat them by 1 point the first game of the season. We are a long way from week 0. JMO

I understand..But that game wasnt as close as everyone thinks till 30 sec left in the game.Monahans led 29-7 at one point then 43-30 with like 1 min left. They put up some points at the end to make it look good but not when it counted

The thing that sticks out to me is that Monahans was able to do that with 16 players not playing

I didn't hear 16 but I know they had several out. How did monahans get the big lead? Was it turnovers, special teams, or just dominating Snyder?

They had a few Turnovers but their D should have stepped up.Good teams with good Defense do.We also had a couple and we gave up a KR on opening 2nd half to give them a spark..

Snyder last fumble came as they were going in for the go ahead touchdown at the 25 and the chances of the pound it on the ground Loboe game having enough time to score was not likely.

I sure how that the Tigers and Loboes meet again down the road in the playoffs.
