Does anyone know how Texas Relays is going? I talked to one of our girls earlier today and she said that our (Kennedales) girls 4x1, and 4x4 got 1st in the prelims and our 4x2 got second. So its off to the finals for them. Rex Harper got 3rd place in his heat on the 100 and 12th overall. Not sure about Jerome Fisher on high jump, but if anyone else has any results for theirs or any other school please let me know.

it says Jordan Shipley ran a 10:96 in the prelims. Earvin Parker from Lewisville ran a 10:45 though. On a great note Kennedale Ladykats won the 4x2 with a 1:43:15 in the finals....so great job kennedale!!

I know what you mean Jasper. This may not fit Jasper's case but there are some coaches that won't send their stars because they want them to be at local track meets with their team. I can almost see their point but this it causes them to miss out a chance to compete with people from around the whole state and not just their own area until the state meet. It is a shame they don't let them have this opportunity and I could understand if it was for a local track meet but for this rare opportunity for some I think one track meet could possible be sacrificed since it isn't a district meet. Still there is a point for the other side but it is a shame in some cases.

no it didnt fit jaspers case. its better they learned there lesson now and can run in district and so on.
