Thanks for keeping us informed, AP! Was hoping the Apaches could come away with a win. Hope this was an injury free game for y'all!

Gonzales will now need to win 2 of last 3 to get in.
Pleasanton
La Vernia
Cuero

Very tuff road

Apaches have the week off to recuperate. One of the big guns was injured near the end of the game. Hope it wasn't serious. The kids need to regroup and keep their heads on straight. Nothing says they can't win 2 of the last three and could even win them all. They proved some things to me even in the loss. They are competitors and are not going to roll over and play dead for anyone. Had several opportunities to win the game, just couldn't get over the hump. They were inside the 5 yard line at least twice in the second half where they turned the ball over on downs. Kudos to SH. They were tough when they had to be.

Why no FG's then? Two of those from inside the 5, ya'll win. SH is hugh huh Gontex? Biggest team I seen all year, all levels.

Penalty bug bit 'em. Both times the Apaches got down there, they seemed to catch the penalty bug. I think they had four or five penalties in those two possessions in the red zone. One of those was a holding call. Throw in enough of those and fg's become pretty iffy. Gonzales kicking game has been the thorn in their side all year.

Sounded like the Dawgs played the Bears pretty tough last night. Looking forward to your game against the Gobblers. That one is always a slobberknocker.

Depends which Dog team shows up. Now that they are pretty much out of it, hopefully pride and it being Cuero will get them up for it. Still love my Dogs.

Cuero will be fired up, their Turkey (Ruby) lost I see.

From what I remember, The Dawgs are always ready to play the Gobblers.
