I was number #30

Paratrooper was the one that notified me of the site.
He had the lowest # of anyone that was not on the start-up team; but, he has been out of the country so much that he had to reestablish with a new #.

That's because some of us (a) don't post pad and (b) have jobs that don't accommodate lengthy periods of time spent on the internet. ;)

Well there aren't many here (if any at all) who have out-posted you, so you don't have to defend yourself. :)

And I bet no one ever is surprised at your gender either...lol

I moved to Kansas almost 3 years ago -- but I still stay up with the Downlow! It has been years since my son graduated from Vernon HS which is what brought me to the site.

Just an interesting note, I came on about a year after jlwttu and look how many members joined that first year (2001-2002) between he and I: about 700 or so. How many of those fellers are left?

I joined 3adownlow back in 2001 and posted for a long time. My screen name was somehow erased so I had to redo it.
My number now is 10158. Wow.

There is a feature in this software that does an automatic pruning. If you haven't logged in for about a year and a half, the sire sends an email saying your account is about to be deleted. If you don't log in then, the account goes away. This is one of several reasons why you have to have a valid email address of record.

Ahhh... that makes sense. That'll teach me not to leave the 3aDL site for 2...3 years at a time.

Do the numbers change with each "pruning?"

The reason I ask is because when I first joined, I was number 711....and the only reason I remembered that is because...well...it was 711.

Now I am 156.
