Robstown @ West Oso

Since moving down to 3A, Robstown has beaten West Oso the past couple of years and this year is no different. Robstown is starting come around with it's passing game, slowly but surely. I don't see WO having an answer for Robstown rushing game. At anytime Robstown can bust one to house for a TD.

West Oso isnt to shabby on defense, they'll blitz alot and have pretty good front 7 and have been in most of their games this year but offensively no threat despite some speed in the backfield.

I think by the time Raymondville played RH, RH was already beating emotionally and just had that fallout. I won't take too much into that game.

Hey SFIA, since you seen WO play aready, how do you see their D matching up with Robstown's beefy O-line? Haven't seen WO all this season and there D got me thinking since I haven't really seen any team send a blitz against Robstown. Usually the opposing D just waits for the play to come to them.

Sweet videos! WO likes to blitz up the gut. I don't see them catching Flores when he hits the edges. Robstown should have no problem picking up those LB.

West Oso blitzed almost every play in the 1st qtr against Ingleside. After a couple of plays it was real obvious what they were going to do. They also received several offside penalties because of poor timing. Robstown won't have a problem with the blitz.

Update: An unknown West Oso running back just scored on a, give or take, 75 yard run. After the play, a personal foul on both teams was called for a scuffle happening near the Oso bench. Currently, coaches are talking to the students.

Update time: West Oso actually MISSED the extra point so technically it's 14-6.

As far as the scuffle near the Oso bench, don't know who or how many Oso players were ejected but they were and number 64 for Robstown was ejected as well.

Hopefully these kids settle down and start having some fun. :rolleyes:

Well, depending on what type of food you want at the time, there's a little place called Snocup, they sell food and have some really good, really cheap burgers. The crispy tacos are awesome, too! You can try Beefy Burger as well, they have a variety, although they're pretty well known for their Super Rolls. And of course we have the typical Dairy Queen, Whataburger, McDonald's and of course Taqueria Guadalajara is my favorite for Mexican food. Also MG's Pizza is by far the BEST for pizza and subs! Hope it's a good trip for you!

Hey guys, give my sis a hand on the updates! :clap: She enjoyed her time on here.

Quick hits on the game:

-Alex Marroquin did not suit up for tonights game which left Randy Flores to play QB the whole night.

-Robstown came out throwing the ball tonight and did a fantastic job. Clearly WO blitzing came back to haunt them and Robstown wasted no time exploiting the holes on WO D.

-Robstown on the first drive kill about 11 mins in the first drive! Converting two 4th down conversions with the 2nd conversion resorting into a TD.

Overall, Robstown look great passing the ball when needed which already adds to the power rushing attack they have. Couldn't have come at a better time to unleash their passing game.
