I tried one in Reno last year. Was not impressed in the least. Maybe it was just that location, I dont know. I know I've had much better burgers in many other places.

If you ever have a few hours layover at LAX, In N Out near corner of Sepulveda & Lincoln Blvd's (just outside airport) actually has a free shuttle that will pick you up and return you to your terminal!!!

I just saw a Carl's Jr in San Antonio as well....

This is great news. Can't wait for them to start spreading down south some more too.

Carl's is 12 minutes away from my house at the intersection of Bandera and Eckert.
Not terrible burgers, but not near as good as Texas Burger Co. on Huebner, just north of Babcock.;)

In N Out beats the Big Mac and Whoppers for sure. I honestly though dont see the big deal. Although they are popular out west, I miss Whataburger. Esp the one in Early ;)

Whataburger kills it! I will admitthat their fries are pretty darned good though.

Went to the In-n-Out by LAX when i drove to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl. My friend (who had lived in california) RAVED about how good it was and nothing beat it. Without a doubt - i would gladly take a whataburger any day over an in-n-out burger. And even Whataburger fries were better in my opinion. Needless to say i never bought into the in-n-out hype.

If you like In-N-Out, try Mooyah Burgers. It's pretty much the same formula. There is one in Frisco on Preston Road.

I'm not sure In-N-Out will take hold in Dallas, though. I remember the craze when Krystal moved in here, and now there are only 3 stores left. The ones in Denton and Far North Dallas were closed within about two years.

I spent a lot years working out in California. The locals RAVED about the IN-and-OUT burger. Went a couple of times, just not that impressed. That sauce seems just like thousand island to me... nothing I like on a burger. And I agree, Whataburger beats it.

I even took Mrs Slpybear to San Fran and we had them near Pier 39... She was most definitely not impressed.

Too each their own, but I do wish we could get some of those cheap Hawaiian Barbecue places here instead!:inlove:

all these people loving Wahta Burger and I just cant stand it. Maybe its because all of the ones in Abilene are just ridiculously slow and I think value wise its way over rated.
