Is Argyle D1 or D2 out of their district? Remember these guys from 2A, watched them beat Early in semis '05. That Early team was stacked with talent. Would be interesting to know if the same coaches are there?

They will go d2 unless Sanger does not make the playoffs. And sanger probably gets the 2 or 3 spot. I think the staff is still the same. They have a good football squad that is for sure. They have been playing us off and on ever since they started the program. 2002 I think.

Thanks for the info., I'll be keeping an eye on them for sure. Watching Kirbyville as well. I know some Brownwood folks get overly excited sometimes, and rightfully so this year, but I am excited about Brownwood v Snyder this year. Should be a good measure for Brownwood, Snyder has two weeks to prepare as they have a bye week this week.

We have the same coaching staff for the most part. Todd Rogers is still the man in charge. This years team is much like that team in '05. Lots and lots of speed and a bunch of kids that just like to hit. If they keep working hard and don't start believing their press they have a good chance to make some noise. That being said they are a bunch of 16 and 17 year olds you just never know. Should be fun watching this develop.

firstdown, you mention that your boys like to hit. The first series of the '05 game with Early the linebacker lit up the Early RB and he didn't know where the huddle was, pretty impressive!:)

Really looking forward to the Brownwood @ Snyder matchup. These two weeks are going to crawl by. I don't know if the bye week will help or hurt, but it should help a few of the players get over some injuries if nothing else.

Oh, and I am a little surprised to see Monahans hold on to their ranking...seeing their struggle versus 2-3 Borger. Oh well, maybe it'll keep M-Lobo-Fan happy.:)

Brownwood has a LB out since Stephenville game, he has shown signs of greatness. Hope he is back for Snyder, the guys playing now are doing fine but I want to see what he does for the rest of the year. Good luck, see ya in two weeks.

Really? Kirbyville beating WO-S two weeks after their QB dies is something to watch after WO-S lead into the 3rd Q??? I look forward to seeing them again in the Quarterfinals IF Kirbyville can get past Jasper and Center and Diboll... ;p

1986 repeat (aka Jasper) here we come! :p

had no idea Kirbyville had beat WOS, just been watching them moving up the ranks. Word is they are playing well guess time will tell. My post had nothing to do with your quarterback, sorry for the loss.

so are you saying that you dont believe Kirbyville should be where they are? I dont think people have put them where they are based soley on this win. They probably have one of the toughest schedules in 3a and they are still undefeated! Trust me you better keep an eye on them Kats!! ;)
