You guys are making West Texas Proud! You went through some adversity in the middle of the season and did not let it get you down. You have been improving every week and it is starting to pay off for you now. You guys have stuck together as a team and have played inspired ball the last few weeks. Thanks for the post Vet. It was a nailbitter all the way to the final 17 seconds. We were on the 1 foot line ready to score with a little over a minute left to play and we jumped off sides. 4th and 5 and Keenum throws a slant to Lance Miller for the score. Everman wasn't quite finished, though. They drove down to about the 40 or so of Wylie before their final and costliest fumble. Turnovers were the difference in this game, but also holding Everman to two offensive TDs by our D was amazing. Next week we go against a much improved Snyder team. We beat them 24-7 in pre-district but no one here is going to take them lightly. They are playing their best ball. We'll have to as well.
