who has the Best D in 3A after 6 weeks?

Well you could say i am being a homer but i think Dalhart has a real shot at being in this category, Dalhart's 1st team D has surrendered just 16 pnts through 6 games, and even Dalharts 2nd team has surrendered just another 16pnts

Dalhart has outscored there opponents 255-32 which is very impressive, they held Seminole to just 3 pnts when they kicked a FG in the last 4mins of the game...Dalharts D gives up an avg of only 150 yards a game, Seminole came into there game with there QB passing for over 1400 yards and was held to just 76 yards, LBK-Cooper had a decent O going into there game with Dalhart and they were barely able to put 10 pnts on the board, Dalhart also has the ability to run the ball very well and control that clock, i think Dalhart will suprise acouple high powered O's in the playoffs

I'm not going attempt to look up and put all the stats on here, but Caldwell's D has to be somewhere near the top. Only 40 points allowed in 5 games. 19 from Madisonville, 6 from Connaly and 15 from BR.

Are the teams yal are playing predominantly running teams or passing or 50/50 types?

Our starters gave up 13 to Gatesville, 0 to Graham, 16 to Stephenville, 7 to Llano, 7 to China Spring, 6 to All Saints.... so 49 points by our starters. On the other hand... our starting D has scored 18 points (2 safeties and 2 INT returns for TD)... also has 3 INTs returned inside the opponent 5 yard line..,. so pretty close to 39 points scored by the D.

I dont know if you would consider them the best D in 3A but you have to consider them one of the top with this schedule!!

Kville 20 - 6 (5-1) Coldspring (only loss Kville)
Kville 41 - 6 (3-2) Newton (wins over Corrigan Camden,Silsbee)
Kville 39 - 7 (1-4)Vidor (OT lose to Texas High, Win Nederland)
Kville 51 - 31 (5-1) Bridge City (only lose to Kville)
Kville 55 - 0 Wills Point 0
Kville 28 - 14 (2-2)WOS (wins against Nederland and Jasper loses to Kville and 1pt lose to Friendswood.

KIRBYVILLE is most solid on Defense!

They gave up and average of ONE touchdown to ALL the teams but Bridge City.
In that game, they gave up 31 points--but Bridge City has one of the most potent Offenses in 3A. All their other opponents loss to them by quite a high average.
