Yikes, I know Kirbyville is legit and all but I dont see that wide of margin. Im going to that game so I hope it aint that bad. I was thinking more along the lines or Kirbyville by 10-12 pts.

i can only guess that someone is estimating wo-s to still be reeling from their loss, cause it seems like a lot of people have kirbyville in this imaginary world of dominance.....they are tough, fighting team with GOOD size on their line, but we have played kirbyville teams in the past far superior to this team that wern't state ranked.....that team they had the year rita came thru were a hand full to say the least....

last year when we played wo-s we outgained them offensively, yet still wouldn't have beaten them without the turnovers from them.....the same goes with kirbyville this year in reverse, without 2 short field turnovers that they had to drive less than 50 yards for 2 tds, the score is tied, our stats for the kv game this year were almost even.....

if wo-s turns the ball over a bunch like they did against us last year, i could see kv beating them 34-7, otherwise i don't see them holding us to 6 pts if we played again, much less wo-s.....its just like someone said at the beginning of the year "kv is the #5 team in the state, no matter what happens on the field".....they are very human, and very beatable.....

Being from SE TX, I believe this is the best game in Texas this weekend.

Both teams are loaded. WO-S always has top track type speed.....Kirbyville is huge on the line and has a back that will probably be a Pro-back in his future; plus, they have only given up one TD to each--to three teams this season.

They were challenge by Bridge City who is now 4-1. At halftime it was 27-24 and near the end of the game it was KV 37 and BC 31.

No one else has even challenged KV and probably won't....that is, after this game against WO-S.

This is a game of real Championship level material.

the one big thing i will say in kirbyville's behalf is this will be a "dang if we do, dang if we don't" game....

if they lose, some will say wo-s was playing off emotion....

if they lose, some will say wo-s was still reeling from their terrible loss of #12.....

i was just sayin if kv gets blown out, some will say wo-s just beat them on emotion....

i haven't seen wo-s this year, they lost a bunch in the two okla athletes, and i still believe not having one of them hurt them more last year in the playoffs than most say, but friendswood was, and is, a dynamite 4a team....if wo-s can generate any offense to speak of they will win by 2 tds, either way i don't think wo-s winning would be an upset.....i'm ready to eat crow or take bows........lol

i don't usually pull for one set of boys over another to actually "win", coldspring excluded, but with what the mustangs have been through over the last two weeks, this is one game i sure hope to see one team win.....lets go mustangs.....

I saw the game tonight......both teams played really well.

I think that Kirbyville-- at this point in time-- is the best 3A team in the state!

Yes that smallest 3A enrollment in the state is for real....They went to the State Finals for the last two years in 2A.....and in my opinion they are much better as a team this year.

WO-S is good enough to make some real waves in 3A also this season.
