Congratulations to Vernon...sounds like a hard fought game. This means that the likely seeding for D2 would be Vernon #1 and IP #2. That means that Vernon would get Brady and IP would get Ballinger.

This was an interesting game. Vernon clearly has a superior team to Iowa Park. However, Vernon's starting corner was injured in the 3rd quarter and IP took advantage by going to the spread and putting their #1 receiver #5 Chase Burhger who was a great player on the second team Vernon corner and he could not cover the guy. That made the difference in this game. Otherwise Vernon wins by 21 or more. I was very disappointed this wasn't won by more points. Several strange things happened in this game that favored IP and made a huge difference to keep them in this game. IP has no running game to speak of.
